ドイツのハードディスカウンターLidlは、2018年秋にスウェーデンのHalmstadで自動運転トラックのテストを計画している。
これはスウェーデンStockholmのテクノロジー企業Einride社が開発したもので、電動のもの。
運転席は全く無く、自動運転で走行する。積載量はパレット（ユーロパレット?）15枚相当、航続距離は200㎞
関係当局からの認可が下りればテストを開始できる。
The Swedish arm of the Schwarz Group discount banner is to trial autonomous trucks in Halmstad from next autumn. The test is in partnership with Stockholm-based tech company Einride and is subject to regulatory clearance before going ahead. Einride T-pod delivery trucks are battery operated and completely self-propelled. They should have a range of over 200 km. (German language)
